Carbon Fibre has long been known as a super lightweight but durable material that is essential in the motorsport industry, but with the EU pushing for sustainability, this impossible-to-recycle material may become a thing of the past.
What's the alternative? Hemp Plastic. Companies like Porsche and BMW are already testing(and using) hemp plastic components in their racecars. It offers 70% of the strength of carbon fibre while weighing less, is far cheaper to produce and is fully recyclable!
